Piers Morgan’s anti-woke battle is being backed by Prince Andrew’s ex-wife Sarah Ferguson in the wake of his Good Morning Britain exit.
Piers said that he was told to “get back out there” but the Duchess of York this week, one month after he sensationally quit Good Morning Britain.
The 56-year-old presenter detailed the encouraging exchange in his newspaper column in the Daily Mail.
He wrote: “Friday April 9. Not all Royal duchesses were as thrilled as Meghan ‘Pinocchio’ Markle to see me leave GMB.
“‘People have said how much they miss your morning joy and humour,’ texted Sarah, Duchess of York, ‘get back out there!’.”
This led Piers to suggest starting a new breakfast show with Fergie, saying: ““Perhaps we should start a new breakfast show together.“
“’Morgy and Fergie in the Morning’, anyone?”
Piers said he was also recently emailed a note of support by Robert O’Neill – famed for firing the killing shots at Bin Laden during a dramatic US Special Forces raid on the 9/11 mastermind’s Pakistan hideout.
Robert, 45, recently hit headlines when he was banned from Delta airlines for sharing an in-flight maskless selfie captioned: “I’m not a p***y.”
Piers said the ex-SEAL shooter emailed him to say he rates his woke-bashing book Wake Up better than the Bible.
The telly motormouth bragged: “Of all the feedback I’ve had for Wake Up – which ironically, given my recent situation, is a defence of free speech and a clarion call for woke liberals to stop cancelling everyone! – my favourite came from a man named Robert O’Neill, who emailed: ‘I wanted to tell you that your book is the best I’ve read in years. Top five in my life… and I’ve read the Bible! Absolute common sense’.”
Robert was last August hurled into a Twitter fight with woke celebs over his maskless airplane selfie.
He was forced to justify it by telling them it was a joke as he usually wears a Covid facemask.
Piers last month stormed off Good Morning Britain when he was slated by the show’s weatherman Alex Beresford, 40, for refusing to believe Meghan Markle’s claims about racism in the royal family and thoughts of suicide.

His rant against the ex-actress is part of his long-running fight against the cancel culture, which he says in his best-selling Wake Up book sickens him.
