Sarah Jessica Parker has taken to her social media pages to reveal that a Sex and the City 3 is finally on the way, with HBO confirming the news with a dramatic teaser clip.
Fellow cast members, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis also took to their Instagram profiles to give fans a first glimpse of the trailer.
Sadly for fans, it appears as though Kim Cattrall who played the role of Samantha Jones will not be taking part in the reunion as she has remained silent during the bombshell announcement.
The exciting news follows months of speculation that the New York City based show was set to return with fans sitting on the edge of their seats awaiting confirmation.
Alongside the clip which shows a bustling Manhattan, SJP penned: “I couldn’t help but wonder… where are they now? X, SJ,” before she is heard saying: “and just like that”.
