Loose Women panellist Stacey Solomon has told her Instagram followers that she has been struggling with breastfeeding her new daughter.
The 32-year-old star has bravely admitted that she has been finding breastfeeding difficult but is still hoping for a “positive journey” despite the situation is making her feel “sad”.
She welcomed her daughter on Monday and has since sought professional help from breastfeeding experts to aid her.
Stacey previously faced difficulties when feeding her youngest son Rex when he was first born.
The situation made Stacey extremely emotional two years ago and is now feeling similarly to then.
Stacey told her fans: “I’m struggling again with feeding this time around so spending all of my energy trying to feed, eat and rest.
“Also seeing local breastfeeding specialists and the community midwives who have been incredible so hoping for a more positive journey in the end this time but not putting pressure on myself.
“Even though it makes me a bit sad, whatever will be will be.”
The former X Factor singer also thanked her loyal followers for helping through these tough times.
She continued: “Your messages are just everything, especially on these days when the milk is coming in and the oxytocin is on its way out.
“I just wanted to say, I know these days can be the hard ones. Keep going. You’re doing amazing mummy.”
Stacey is yet to reveal her new daughter’s name, but eagle-eyed fans believe they could have spotted a clue to what it could be already.
Some fans think Stacey’s dad David may have given the game away by inadvertently hinting at what she might be called.
The proud dad took to his Instagram page to congratulate Stacey and Joe on the birth with a heartfelt post.
He wrote: “Proud Daddy Moment well Done to my beautiful Daughter you done amazing. ( joe was good too ) how gorgeous to see number 9 on your Birthday being there was very special welcome to the world picklelet I’m sure you will be so loved and protected.”
His followers rushed to comment on the post – with one suggesting a name for the newborn.
They wrote: “Beautiful baby congratulations. Would be fun if she was called Lily… Pickle-Lily… lol.”
David then liked the comment sparking speculation from fans that her name may indeed be Lily.
