Steps star Lee Latchford-Evans and his wife Kerry-Lucy are expecting their first baby.
The celebratory news, which was revealed in OK!, comes two years after the couple suffered a heartbreaking miscarriage.
Opening up about the news to the publication, Lee said: “We’re scared as much as we’re excited. We’ve wanted a baby for so long.”
Lee and wife Kerry-Lucy married in November 2018 at an 18th century mansion in Surrey.
Lee is part of the 90s supergroup Steps who, after a hiatus, sensationally reformed last year.
The hugely-popular five-piece group is made up of Lee, Claire Richards, Ian ‘H’ Watkins, Faye Tozer and Lisa Scott-Lee.
But Lee once admitted that if the group hadn’t have been so successful, then he might have quit to pursue another career.
“If it hadn’t been as successful as it was, I might have done,” he said. “Our low point was when we were starting out in Germany and performed in a shopping centre.
“We were shoved into a corner beside these washing machines, then we’d come home and be in arenas,” he told the Metro.
Lee has also had his fair share of health problems, most notably in 2017 when he revealed he feared he’d “never walk again” after years of dance routines damaged his spine.
He was left needing a wheelchair following major surgery and admitted: “The dance moves in Steps damaged my spine for good,” he told The Sun.
Steps confirmed last year that they were back with a bang as they released their 21st single, What The Future Holds – music to fans’ ears after they waited three years.
The fun pop group were catapulted to international fame back in 1997 with their hit single, 5,6,7,8, which instantly cemented them as one of Britain’s biggest musical groups.
Now, 24 years since bursting onto the scene with their fun-filled hits, the group have released their sixth studio album and tenth headline tour as well as teasing an A-List performance collaboration.
