Strictly Come Dancing’s AJ Odudu broke down in tears as she scored an impressive 35 points out of a possible 40.
The 33-year-old TV presenter scored the high mark from the judges after performing her movie week routine to Whitney Housten’s classic Bodyguard song, I Have Nothing.
Speaking before the score was revealed, an emotional AJ was reduced to tears.
“You look very emotional,” said Strictly presenter Claudia Winkleman.
In response, AJ replied: “I do feel emotional because, yeah, it’s been… I’ve had a lot of self doubt this week and I just really wanted to execute it well and I didn’t want to let anybody down; especially Kai.
“It’s such a beautiful dance so I just wanted to do it justice.”
AJ scored eight points from Craig Revel Horwood, whilst receiving a score of nine from Oti Mabuse, Shirley Ballas and Anton du Beke respectively.
Also quick to praise her performance were viewers on Twitter.
One wrote: “AJ really is a bit special.”
Another commented: “Outstanding. I am just agog looking at Kai and AJ. She is BEAUTIFUL and so graceful. It’s like looking at two pros.”

Meanwhile, a fourth social media user said: “Both AJ and Kai were perfectly cast in that, whoever chose The Bodyguard deserves a round of applause.”
“A wonderful #Strictly routine from AJ and Kai. I watched and got lost in it. Gorgeous,” another concluded.
