Strictly's Giovanni says 'I love you' to Rose weeks after split with Maura Higgins

Strictly Come Dancing pro Giovanni Pernice shared his feelings with partner Rose Ayling-Ellis after emotional dance on Saturday night’s show.

Dancing to their Couple’s Choice on this weeks show to the hit song Symphony by Clean Bandit and Zara Larson, they didn’t leave a dry eye in the room.

As the couples dance came to an end, they embraced one another as Giovanni told the EastEnders actress: “I love you.”

The public display of affection follows weeks after Giovanni’s split from former Love Islander Maura Higgins, 30.

The reality TV star and pro dancer split up last month after a four-month relationship together.

Fans of the popular BBC dance competition are convinced the Italian dancer is “smitten,” due to the couples chemistry being unnoticeable.

One posted: “Sorry but Rose and Giovanni need to get married, it’s a must #Strictly.”

Another said: “#Strictly @bbcstrictly btw if Giovanni is not in love with her I will eat my hat! He could not stop kissing her head and looking so lovingly at her. I loved tonight’s show.”

A third person added: “The way Gio looks at Rose. That man is smitten #Strictly.”

“#Strictly #Giovanni #Rose without saying anything, they said everything. Absolutely beautiful, the look of love. Unconditional love. Reach for the stars and glitter ball,” another penned.

During the couples latest dance it was made extra special by featuring a “silent moment” in honour of Rose and the deaf community.

Rose said after the performance: “I feel very, very thankful for your determination to make this dance the most positive, happy dance it can be because you know that being deaf, there’s nothing wrong, it’s such a joy to be deaf and I think that says a lot about you as a person.”

Later, Giovanni commented: “It was just wonderful, the whole week. What the judges just said, it’s exactly how I feel every single day when I walk into the room.

“The positivity that she gives to me every single day is just out of this world.”

Turning to Rose, he then said: “So, I’m the one who is very thankful to you so thank you so much!”
