Strictly's Nina Wadia jokes she'll miss Nikita Kuzmin more than dance partner Neil Jones

Strictly Come Dancing’s first evictee Nina Wadia has playfully admitted that she will miss professional dancer Nikita Kuzmin more than her partner Neil Jones.

The EastEnders actress took over the Strictly Instagram account on Tuesday afternoon and answered a number of fans burning questions as the first contestant to be dropped from the competition.

As the 52-year-old actress reflected on her short-lived time on the hit BBC One dance show, she thanked the one million followers on the Strictly Come Dancing social media account for all of their love and support throughout her time on the show.

While she sat alongside her partner Neil Jones, the British comic revealed some of the routines she wanted to learn that she couldn’t and confessed she “fell in love with dancing” because of the fun she had with her red-haired partner.

When asked what she would miss most about performing on Strictly, Nina responded: “Nikita!” as the room erupted into laughter.

To clarify, Neil asked: “So, you’re going to miss Nikita more than you’re going to miss me?”

She replied: “You know it’s not true” before she whispered to the camera: “It’s true!” as Neil walked off.

But Neil couldn’t be annoyed at her for long as the whole dance hall burst into laughter as they joked around backstage on the Strictly set.

Later on, in the Q&A Nina explained how she has always had a love for dancing but that fondness blossomed throughout her time training for the dance show.

She stated: “I always loved dancing but I wasn’t expecting to enjoy it as much as I did with you,” which initially came across as a loving compliment.

But her quick-witted friend soon quizzed: “Wait, you weren’t expecting to enjoy dancing with me” as she quickly butted in saying: “No” before he continued: “Or enjoy dancing because it was with me”.

And viewers watched as the hilarious comedy duo fell into an awkward silence before the video ended.

Before the happy couple left our screens for good, Nina and Neil thanked the huge mass of supporters at home who voted for them and cheered them on throughout their time on the show.

Neil began with: “Thank you, thank you for all you votes and supporting us. We had the best time,” to which Nina added: “Definitely, thanks for all your love” as she blew the camera a kiss.
