Tipping Point fans poke fun at Ben Shephard as they spot presenter's habit

Ben Shephard was teased by tonight’s Tipping Point viewers as they spotted the television star’s habit.

Tonight’s contestants were John, Maria, Ross and Simone, who all took part in the iconic game show in a bid to win mega money.

During the show, each player takes part in a quick-fire question round and fans noticed something Ben always does after each one.

They spotted that the presenter repeats each question and answer again after each contestant’s turn.

Viewers took great joy in poking fun at Ben as one tweeted: “Repeats question that no one cares about klaxon!”

While another sarcastically penned: “Thanks for repeating the questions Ben… really appreciate it!” with a smirking emoji.

“Pointlessly finishing the questions klaxon,” added a third.

John was the lucky player to make it through to the last round of the programme.

This meant he was in with the chance of winning the hugely sought-after £10,000 jackpot prize.

In his last round, John collected numerous coins from the machine and made an astounding £3,000.

Ben offered the player three more counters in exchange for his winnings as one final chance to win the jackpot.

However, John wasn’t tempted and decided not to gamble as the jackpot counter proved difficult to retrieve from the machine.

Earlier this week, Shephard was stunned as a player named Kate made a rare move, but her impressive coin action still didn’t result in her winning any cash.

The player put her coin in, the counter rapidly dropped to the first level and immediately knocked a counter over the first edge.

Then, with another shove, it knocked into the counters again, but the move still failed to retrieve any money for Kate’s prize fund.

Ben remarked: “Cheeky double shove,” as he pointed out the rare move.

Despite her best efforts, Kate was the second player to leave the competition.

Tipping Point airs weekdays at 4pm on ITV.
