Taylor Lautner is engaged to his partner of almost three years Tay Dome after romantic proposal ceremony.
The actor who played shapeshifter werewolf Jacob Black in the vampire romance movies Twilight, got down on one knee and asked his other half to be his wife earlier this week.
The 29-year-old Hollywood star proposed to the nurse from California surrounded by red roses and petals scattered over the floor.
Taylor looked handsome surrounded by candles and a large fire place with his name in neon lights above while wearing a suit and tie whilst 24-year-old Tay wowed in a spotted maxi dress.
Sharing the moment on Instagram to his 6.9 million followers, his bride-to-be can be seen with her hands covering her mouth in surprise.
He wrote: “11.11.2021. And just like that, all of my wishes came true.”
The couple started dating in 2018 and the stunning pictures have received 650 thousand likes in just a few hours.
Taylor’s celebrity friends were quick to comment and congratulate the couple of the incredible news.
Nikki Reed wrote: “Oh my goodness! This makes me want to cry! Wow!! Congrats to you both!!!!!”
Jonathan Bennett also wrote: “Congratulations!!!!!!!!” adding “Welcome to the club”.
Jason Kennedy joked: “Still hiding behind the right bouquet, cool to pop out now?
“I LOVE YOU GUYS so much it makes my head ache. What a special night”.
Sharing the same snap to her Instagram page, Tay wrote: “My absolute best friend.
“I CANNOT WAIT TO SPEND FOREVER WITH YOU”.
Her husband-to-be was quick to comment and tell her: “Got news for you, the feeling is mutual”.
Taylor’s sister Maneka Moore was also quick to comment adding: “IM FINALLY GETTING A SISTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
Previously Taylor had a “fun few months” dating another Taylor, Taylor Swift in 2009.
The Michigan-born actor starred in the five-part Twilight series alongside Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart when he was a teenager.
The films went on to make more than $3.4 billion worldwide.
He recalled: “I was 15 when I auditioned and filmed the first one at 16 … Overall it was amazing, unbelievable but it’s crazy none of us knew when we got the job and we started filming.
“We had no idea it would be popular or successful or anything so it was kind of just thrown at us.”
Taylor came to the UK after starring in Twilight to try out British comedy in BBC Three series Cuckoo.
Taylor played Dale, Ashbrick Jr and admitted the humour in the UK is “a little dry.”
Speaking on the Jonathan Ross Show, he said: “I had to adjust to the kind of comedy here, it’s a little more sarcastic a little dry.”
