Indiana Jones is one of the biggest action film franchises of all time, raking hundreds of millions in the box office.
Created by George Lucas and Steven Spielburg, the series has seen a whopping five films with actor Harrison Ford playing the iconic character.
With the first film being released in 1981, and the latest being released in 2022, it has seen countless actors appear in the film alongside the famous archaeologist.
Daily Star has taken a walk down memory lane to see where the biggest stars of the show are now after 40 years of the movie being on screens.
Harrison Ford
Played: Indiana Jones in all four films
After Star Wars shot him to fame, Ford’s turn as Indy cemented his leading man status. He has gone to star in more than 80 Hollywood films including The Fugitive and Air Force One, as well as reprising his role as Han Solo in the Star Wars reboot.

Known for his hardman’ roles, Winstone more recently starred in panned 2019 film Cats. Away from acting, he courted controversy in 2013 when he hosted Have I Got News for You and said Scotland’s chief exports were “oil, whisky, tartan and tramps”. A fan of West Ham, he promoted their 2009 kit.
Shia LeBeouf
Played: Mutt Williams in Kingdom of the Crystal Skull
In 2014, LeBeouf – who was Indy’s secret son in the film – appeared on the red carpet at the premiere for sexy flick Nymphomaniac wearing a paper bag with ‘I am not famous anymore’ written on it. He went on to date and marry Nymphomaniac co-star Mia Goth, but they divorced in 2018.
