BBC Breakfast fans were left baffled this week, as both regular presenters were replaced in a major show shake-up.
On Wednesday (March 30), Sally Nugent was missing from the show, with Nina Warhurst stepping up to the red sofa in her place.
Typically, Breakfast is presented by Dan Walker and Sally from Mondays to Wednesdays, while Charlie Stayt and Naga Munchetty take over the rest of the week.
But her permanent co-star Dan has also been absent from Breakfast throughout the week – as he is busy taking some time off and improving his golf game. Temporary presenter Jon Kay was thankfully able to make it in his place.
Sally, however, hasn’t yet offered an explanation on social media as to why she wasn’t on set on Wednesday.
Fans were left confused by the replacement, and took to Twitter to share their confusion – and a lot of support for Nina.
One wrote: “NINA! thank god going to enjoy Breakfast this morning, nothing against Jon, but miss DAN!”
Someone else said: “Nina you’re made for this job of morning presenter!”
“@BBCBreakfast you’re a breath of fresh air this morning Nina,” another keen fan added.
While a fourth said: “Good to see Matt [Taylor], Jon and Nina this morning… loving this team.”
“Jon doing a great job,” someone else chimed in.
Dan recently took to Twitter to explain his own absence from Breakfast, as he is currently taking part in a charity golf event to raise money for Sheffield Children’s Hospital.
Posting a range of snaps of him looking dapper in full golfing gear on the course alongside his pals, Dan even had his very own nameplate on the golf buggy.
He wrote alongside the photos: “What an amazing day playing in the @euLegendsTour event raising money for @SheffChildrens
“We may not have won, but we had a brilliant day on the course with @georgiebingham and the hilarious Swedes Jarmo Sandelin & my partner Joakim Haeggman.”
Dan took part in the celebrity challenge section of the event, and was busy the rest of the week practising his swing on the course with his friends – which explains his absence from BBC Breakfast.
He initially posted: “What a treat this was. Tomorrow I’ll be trying to win some money for @SheffChildrens in the @euLegendsTour Celeb Challenge. I’m talking a good game but 9 holes in 6 months (before today) isn’t the best preparation!”
BBC Breakfast airs daily from 6am on BBC One.
