Danniella Westbrook’s daughter has opened up about her mum’s pending marriage to her jailbird fiancé.
Stunning Jodie, 20, is Danniella’s youngest and revealed her thoughts in an exclusive Daily Star chat.
The social media pro explained how she and her talented actress mum get on “a lot better now” and how she “let her get on with her love life” as Danniella does with her.
Jodie said: “I don’t really get involved with all that, I let her get on with her love life, and she lets me get on with mine, and that’s just how it’s always worked.”
Danniella is planning on tying the knot with David, 28, during a ceremony in the Maldives once he’s released from prison, as early as next year.
When asked about the ceremony, Jodie said that no doubt the nuptials will be “extravagant” but she’s not sure whether she will attend as it’s not really been spoken about yet.
Jodie added: “I’m not sure, to be honest, but that sounds like mum as no doubt it will be extravagant.”
Though Jodie was keen to emphasise that she was very happy for her EastEnders star mum and will support her in whatever she wanted to do.
However, she did reveal that she hadn’t met David and isn’t 100 per cent sure on whether she will anytime soon.
When asked about her thoughts on David, she said: “I’ve never met him, no, never, so I don’t really know what he is like but he seems nice from what I’ve heard.”
The blonde beauty confirmed that her mum and David go way back and originally met in Marbella, where Danniella lived for a while, hence why she hasn’t come across him yet.
But what will the hen night entail if Jodie helps plan it?
“A chilled night in and a takeaway,” laughed Jodie.
In a previous interview with the Daily Star, Jodie also explained how she used to want to follow in her mum’s footsteps in the showbiz world.
Jodie said: “I grew up with my goal to be an actress or in West End musicals.
“I did a few musicals in school but I was going to go to Sylvia Young and follow in my mum’s footsteps. But media and advertising took me completely away from that.”
Talking about whether she would be up for a role on EastEnders, she said: “If I just moved in it might be a little bit disheartening for the people who have been doing it for ages.
“I mean I would definitely consider but I don’t know if I’ve got the capacity in talent to do it.”
