EastEnders Gray star Toby-Alexander Smith 'tipped to join rival ITV soap in £500k deal'

EastEnders star Toby Alexander-Smith could be set to join his girlfriend Amy Walsh in rival ITV soap Emmerdale.

The 31-year-old actor’s final scenes as serial killer Gray Atkins played out on Thursday night.

Fans of the BBC soap watched Gray’s reign of terror finally come to an end as he got arrested following a dramatic showdown with Whitney Dean (Shona McCarty).

Toby has become a soap icon since he made his EastEnders debut back in March 2019.

However, he may pop up in another popular serial drama in the near future.

Toby’s girlfriend Amy Walsh plays Tracy Metcalfe in Emmerdale and fans could be about to see the pair join forces and work together on the show.

If he signs a 12-month contract, he could get a whooping £520,000 per year.

“Rumours have revealed that the soap star could appear alongside his partner Amy if so, he could potentially earn over £500,000 a year!”
