Emily Atack put off breakfast after being bombarded with unsolicited snaps of 'penises'

Inbetweeners star Emily Atack, has said she receives pictures of “about 10 penises I have not asked to see” before breakfast every day.

The popular actress, 32, told The Mirror : “If someone sends me a sexually explicit message, I’m like, ‘Why have they said that to me?’

“It makes you question who you are and why you’re single.”

The Celebrity Juice panelist, whose exes are said to include England ace Jack Grealish, singer Harry Styles and comedian Seann Walsh added: “I try and stay away from things that aren’t good for me.

“It’s hard when you are a little mischievous, like me!”

Emily opened up about the distress caused by the pictures

Emily added that: “Sometimes some people and some things are just not meant for you.”

Emily is still best known for the role she shot to fame playing when she was 18 – schoolgirl Charlotte Hinchcliffe on the E4 sitcom The Inbetweeners from 2008 to 2010.

She admitted it was strange filming intimate scenes with co-star Simon Bird – who played Will McKenzie – because of the age gap between the pair.

Emily, who was 17 at the time whilst Simon was in his late 20s, recalled the embarrassing moment she tried to break the tension.

Speaking on Rob Brydon’s podcast, she said: ‘He had to get on top of me and I remember thinking I’m going to have to say something to break the ice, and I said, “How does it feel being on top of a 17-year-old?”

‘He was like, “You’re 17! Oh my God.” He was mortified.’

“It’s amazing,” she says. “It’s one of my favourite jobs I’ve ever done.

“I’m so lucky I get to mess around with my friends for TV and call it work.

We have such a laugh. I never want it to end.”

Level-headed Emily has learned to navigate the tough industry she works in.
