Gemma Atkinson sang her pro dancer fiancé Gorka Marquez and Helen Skelton’s praises after they topped the Strictly Come Dancing leaderboard on Saturday’s show.
Helen and Gorka impressed judges after taking to the dancefloor to perform Mein Herr from Cabaret.

The star racked up an incredible 39 points from the judges – her best ever score – to surge to joint first on the leaderboard with Coronation Street actor Will Mellor.
Judge Shirley Ballas gave the pair a standing ovation, and told them: “Am I looking at a mummy of three? Am I looking at a young lady that has grown from a timid shy girl from week one to this sensual performance, I’ve got goosebumps… it was a memory I’ll treasure forever.”
While the majority of other judge’s comments were positive, Craig Revel Horwood criticised Helen for not using her centre in the dance.
But it was not all negative remarks from Craig, as he also told the pair: “You’ve done one of the most brilliant jobs with (Bob) Fosse’s stuff that I’ve seen.”
And after the show finished Gemma, who performed in the 2017 series of Strictly with professional dancer Aljaž Škorjanec, retweeted a clip of it with a string of applause emojis.
On Instagram, Gemma shared a close-up video of Helen, with the two-word message: “Yes girl.”
She wrote: “It was the subtle middle finger for me.”
Some baffled fans criticised judge Craig Revel-Horwood for not handing Helen and Gorka 10 points for the dance, which would have given them a perfect 40 score.
One fan complained: “Fabulous and should have been a 40, bl**dy Craig”, with a second agreeing: “She was amazing craig been very horrible with that 9 lol”
A third added: “I can’t stop thinking about Helen Skelton’s dance on #StrictlyComeDancing.”
Emmerdale actress Lisa Riley sent a supportive message to Helen after the show had aired.
She tweeted: “Dearest @HelenSkelton you knocked that out the park FULLY!!!! You truly are the epitome of true, real, honest, strength!!!
“You now have the nation behind you [clapping emojis] you deserve this babes [heart emojis] @bbcstrictly #StrictlyComeDancing [star emojis] STAR!!!!”
