British MOBO award winning hip hop N-Dubz are back, much to the joy of ‘na na naii’ and Peruvian hat fans. Dappy, Tulisa and Fazer will all return from an over decade long hiatus by heading off on tour and releasing a new single.
The group achieved two platinum-certified albums, two gold-certified albums, five MOBO awards, a Brit Award nomination, 13 top 40 singles and six silver-certified singles over a 13-year period starting in 2007. Formed in 2000, Camden, the group announced they would be entering a two year hiatus in 2011 to concentrate on their solo careers, but the break lasted 11 years.
The group first formed while they were still at school. Fazer, real name Richard Rawson attended the same karate class as Dappy, Costadinos Contostavlos. Fazer was then introduced to Dappy’s cousin Tulisa Contostavlos, while at Haverstock School.
Derided by some but loved by many, the group holds a special place in the heart’s of much of the public thanks to chart topping hits.

Upcoming single ‘Charmer’ is set to be released on Thursday, 19 May, with tickets for their 10-date UK tour going on sale 20 May. Former Love Island contestant Wes Nelson is also set to join the group as a special guest.
