Hugh Grant has had a meltdown over Heathrow Airport and slammed Priti Patel after branding the airport “a disgrace and inhumane”.
It seems the 61-year-old actor is taking his “HackedOffHugh” Twitter handle to heart as he was left fuming when he arrived back in the UK and landed at the congested British terminal.
The former Bridget Jones Diary star was left so exasperated by the conditions on his travel experience that he took to social media to call out the airports conditions and slam the Home Secretary.

The Florence Foster Jenkins star was left so enraged at what he saw he took a picture of the customs stage of the busy terminal which he shared with his 812,000 followers.
Hugh wrote on Twitter: “Dear Visitors to the UK, I apologise for the way you are treated on arrival. Terminal 3 Heathrow just now was a disgrace and inhumane.”
He added: “I’m afraid we have the worst Home Secretary in British history,” alongside the photo he took which shows long congested queues and women and children waiting on loungers.
After a round of backlash from followers, Hugh took to the microblogging site again to clarify exactly what he meant as he doubled down on his point on immigration and his criticism of the Home Secretary’s department.
He said: “Words to watch out for in my tweet below. “Visitors”. “On arrival”. These are the (not difficult) clues to why I was talking about queues at Border Control. Which is run by Home Office.”
He added: “Separately, are all airports a mess now? Yes – but that wasn’t what I was talking about,” as he clarified he was not talking about the running of the airport itself.
This comes as Hugh slammed reports he is set to play Prince Andrew in a film depicting the infamous BBC Newsnight Interview.
According to Deadline, the 61 year-old actor was rumoured to play the now disgraced Duke Of York in a new movie called Scoop, that’s set to tell the tale of how the BBC obtained the infamous interview conducted by newsreader Emily Maitlis.
However the British Actor rubbished the reports as he previously took to social media writing: “No I’m not. Never heard of it.”
The story comes amid the release of the new book Scoops: Behind The Scenes Of The BBC’s Most Shocking Interviews written by esteemed producer Sam McAlister.
