Love Island best friends Liberty Poole and Kaz Kamwi were reportedly left terrified after being held at knifepoint in Los Angeles.
The Sun reported the two reality TV stars were targeted by a 40-year-old woman, prompting passers-by to alert cops.
Two men nearby reportedly jumped to their defence on Thursday night and apprehended the woman.
A source told the publication: “Liberty and Kaz had been just heading to a party and got out of their car in the wrong part of the neighbourhood.
“Out of the blue, this woman appeared with a knife and threatened them.
“Liberty and Kaz were obviously shocked and terrified — especially because guns are legal in the US.”
Liberty, 22, and Kaz, 26, were reportedly left “shaken” by the incident and were “just surprised it happened”.
The Love Island favourites have been in Los Angeles since attending the Coachella festival last month, which also played host to fellow Love Islander, Millie Court, 24.
Following attending the festival in the Colorado desert, the pair pair have been enjoying a holiday together in Tinseltown.
Daily Star has contacted Kaz and Liberty’s reps for comment.
Kaz is reportedly still single after splitting with fellow Love Island beau Tyler Cruickshank in December after three months of dating.
Speaking after the breakup, Kaz shared she didn’t feel like she was “fully appreciated” in the relationship, however, she added: “that’s just life”.
As well as carving out a career for herself as a fashion influencer, who boasts 800,000 followers on Instagram, Kaz has also undertaken charity work.
She has recently worked with Shelter and The Big Issue.
Single Liberty, who failed to find love with Jake Cornish on Love Island, has recently starred on Dancing on Ice and just signed a £1million deal with fashion brand, In The Style.
