Masked Singer's Panda victory 'sealed' as Traffic Cone star drops their 'secret' to win

Masked Singer star Aled Jones has shared who he thinks will be crowned the winner of the third series.

The Welsh singing sensation, 51, appeared on the wacky ITV guessing game show dressed as Traffic Cone but he was told to take off his mask last weekend.

After just missing out on a place in the final, Aled has shared who he believes will win the show.

Panda, Mushroom and Robobunny are all in the running to be champion.

Speaking to Daily Star and other press, the Welsh singer said: “I think Panda will win. I think Panda has got the cute element.

“I remember being backstage and hearing Panda go on and everyone went ‘ahh’.

He went on to discuss some of the predictions circulating online and shared his shock at some of the famous faces he’s shared the stage with during the competition.

“People have said Mushroom is Charlotte Church which is really weird because I haven’t seen Charlotte since she was a kid and to think we would have been in the same building,” Aled explained.

“I know Gloria Hunniford very well too but you have no idea who is behind any of the costumes.

“It was such a surprise for me that Heather Small, Will Young and all these people I’ve kind of interviewed over the years were there.”

Aled also revealed that he’s messaged comedian Rob Beckett over his Traffic Cone identity wind-up.

Comedian Rob, 36, cheekily claimed that ITV bosses replaced him on the ITV show and even tweeted that he’ll take the broadcaster to court.

He first mentioned that he was Traffic Cone last month and the long-running joke continued until the character was unveiled as Aled.

Speaking about the hilarious wind-up, Aled told Daily Star and other press: “I did message him on Saturday night saying we should go on tour together.

“There was definitely not room for two people in the Traffic Cone costume. It was just me in there without a doubt.

“It was very funny. He made a lot of fun of it.

“It was good actually because a lot of people started guessing it was me after the second week and Rob threw them off the scent. It was brilliant.”

Rita Ora, Davina McCall, Mo Gilligan and Jonathan Ross will be back on our screens this weekend where they will finally find out the identities of the three finalists.

The Masked Singer UK final airs Saturday night on ITV at 7pm
