Strictly Come Dancing contestant Helen Skelton has admitted that she still sleeps in the same bed as her young children and was forced to bribe her son to leave the room.
She recently said: “Mine are terrible sleepers, they like to sleep in my bed, which isn’t good but then other people will be like: ‘Well, that isn’t good?’ Rather than: ‘Oh, that’s nice because they’ll be 18 soon!”
Helen continued: “But, it’s survival. I got my eldest to sleep in his own bed the other night and he was negotiating a deal, [he] said he would for £20.”

The Strictly contestant then joked: “I can’t give you £20 a night! No wonder I’ve had to go back to work.”
The Countryfile presenter shares her three children – seven-year-old Ernie, five-year-old Louis and ten-month-old Elsie – with her ex-husband Richie Myler and the pair sadly split earlier this year.
She touched upon the challenges of parenting her two young children and how she has been struggling to get her son to stay in his bedroom.
The 39-year-old has also been balancing her time between training for Strictly and life at home.
Her hard effort has been paying off as she is still in the competition and continues to win over the judges with her stellar performances with partner Gorka Marquez.
In an interview with The Mirror, she called herself “lucky” to be dancing with the 32-year-old professional.
She gushed: “Gorka is a world-class dancer who spends all day teaching me how to dance. I’m very lucky, every bit is joyous.”
Skelton’s work in rehearsals has landed her as a favourite to win the show and even judge Motsi Mabuse hailed the Blue Peter star as a front-runner for the final.
However, Helen assures fans she isn’t getting ahead of herself.
Skelton has had a tough year after she split from Richie in April and the presenter released a statement at the time to explain the situation to her loyal fans.
She admitted she was “very sad” to say that they were “no longer a couple,” he has “left the family home” and they will “be doing their best to co-parent their small children”.
