Former The Only Way is Essex star James “Arg” Argent has told ITV’s Lorraine he is “back on track” after suffering a relapse with alcohol and drugs earlier this year.
The 34-year old appeared on the chat show on Wednesday (June 29) to discuss his life post-gastric band operation and finally getting clean and sober.
Lorraine told Arg that he had an “addictive personality” and he concurred.

After Lorraine asked him if he felt like he’d “cracked it this time”, the Essex native said: “I do, I do”.
He added: “I put my recovery first now and I kind of feel like I’ve matured a lot in some ways and I, kind of, I’ve had to learn very very had and tough lessons, but I’m at a place in my life where I don’t feel resentful, I don’t feel like ‘oh why has this happened to me’.
“And to be honest with you, there is nothing better than being clean and sober, I love it, I wake up every day excited for what the day is going to bring, I’m achieving, you know, all the things that I’ve said I was going to do, and all my dreams, they’re finally coming together”.
