Where are Love Island 2021 finalists now? Shock announcement to villa podcast

Tonight (August 1) sees the grand finale of the Love Island 2022 series, but who will be crowned winner and take home the £50,000 prize?

With Paige Thorne and Adam Collard being the latest couple dumped from the island, four couples await their fate.

After a rocky ride, Tasha and Andrew have made the final, along with Demi and Indiyah, Gemma and Luca, and the fiery Davide and Ekin-su (get those two a spin-off, now!)

But what about the couples from last year? Are any of the finalists or couples from the 2021 series still together?

We take a look at where they are now.

Are the 2021 Love Island winners still together?

Liam and Millie were crowned Love Island 2021 winners

Having won the hearts of the nation, Millie Court and Liam Reardon were the victors of the 2021 Love Island series and took home the prize money.

After lasting for just one year on the outside, Millie and Liam are no longer together. The pair announced their shock break-up just a few weeks ago, in mid-July 2022.

On Instagram, Millie said: “It’s been a tough decision and I am gutted but it’s ultimately what is best for us right now.”

The 25-year-old also told her fans and followers that the pair were both excited for the next chapter of their lives.

Liam also spoke out about the split. The Welshman said: “We both will continue to be friends and I will remain Millie’s biggest supporter in all that she does and I know she will always do amazing.”

Chloe Burrows and Toby Aromolaran had a complicated road to romance. After Toby moved on twice from Chloe, he still found his way back to her, and the pair finished in second place on the 2021 series.

The two are still going strong today.

Toby now hosts his own Love Island podcast – Fancy a Chat? – in which he interviews ex-Islanders.

Chloe Burrows is living her best life as a social media influencer having found success in the villa.

Faye Winter and Teddy Soares

It was far from smooth sailing for Faye Winter and Teddy Soares.

Mainly down to Faye’s explosive rant, which unsettled most of the viewers, racking up over 25,000 Ofcom complaints.

However, Teddy remained committed to Faye throughout the series and they are still together today.

Kaz Kamwi and Tyler Cruickshank

Love Island 2021’s Liberty and Kaz remain best friends

Kaz and Tyler were a favourite Love Island couple, finishing in fourth place after becoming ‘exclusive’ in the final few days of their Love Island stint.

However, by December they announced their break-up.

Although Kaz did not find lasting love, she did find a best friend: Liberty Poole, who became a national treasure during the series, remains best buds with Kaz to this day.
