The studio of BBC Morning Live was put into chaos by a kitchen blunder.
Helen Skelton and Gethin Jones took to the airwaves to present Tuesday’s edition of the corporation’s morning magazine programme.
However things didn’t go to plan when Great British Bake Off 2018 star Briony May Williams presented her cooking segment.

The trio were displaying three courgette recipes which included spagetti bolognese, muffins and even a cake!
However towards the end of the segment on the BBC show, things got messy as the presenters tried to multi-task by the cooking station.
Briony declared: “You got some there to try,” as she gestured towards the muffins.
As Gethin attempted to tuck into the handheld treats, the former Blue Peter personality made a huge blunder with the other item by their display.
In a near miss incident Helen tried to pick up the cake whilst still holding the wooden spoon that she carried during the whole segment.
As a result she almost dropped the cake as she was carrying too much in one go.
Before, Gethin also leant the flat tool that is used for icing cake on the baked concoction, which also almost feel to the floor as Helen made the clumsy accident.
Gethin declared: “I warned you about that, I did warn you about it.”
As chef Briony giggled with excitement at the commotion on set, the former Strictly star tried to dismiss the incident.
She declared: “This is mine, you guys have the spagetti,” as she moved the cake away from her co-host in a protective gesture.
Helen kept calm as she moved the show along by thanking the guest chef as well as her expert co-hosts who were shown to be tucking into the studio treats.
She said: “Michelle and Maria tucking in there, which is a sign of things to come.”
However just before they went to the next segment, Gethin just couldn’t help himself as he declared how good the muffin was.
To which Helen cheekily replied: “Yep, you have that.”
