BGT’s Simon Cowell fumes after crowd turns on him as Ant and Dec ‘invade’ stage

Britain’s Got Talent was thrown into chaos minutes into the latest show after Simon Cowell was heckled by an audience member causing Ant and Dec to ‘invade’ the stage.

The hit ITV show was back on TV screens on Saturday (April 22) for another instalment of wacky, wild and heartwarming entertainment.

But not even 10 minutes into the programme starting, things took an awkward turn when a budding musician took to the stage.

Kicking off Saturday’s audition at the London Palladium was Accordion Ryan, a teaching assistant.

He arrived on stage animatedly to explain he was going to perform a tune for them on the accordion.

Standing on the stage in front of judges Simon, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and newbie Bruno Tonioli, Ryan explained he was originally from the USA, but was currently living in Austrian capital Vienna.

That prompted Simon to quiz: “So how did you get from there, to there to here?”

But, before the budding entertainer had a chance to answer, an audience member shouted “On a plane!”

The man’s outburst left the rest of the judges in fits of laughter – but it appeared that Simon was not too impressed as he raised his eyebrows at those around him.

“I know by plane,” he fired back before Ryan started to discuss what his job is and how much it would mean for him to win the show.

Viewers, and the panel, were shocked as Ryan then broke out into a performance of Low by Flo-Rida while playing his instrument.

It took just seconds for all of the panel to hit their X buzzers to bring the audition to an end, prompting boos from many of the London audience.

Hosts Ant and Dec meanwhile, looked unimpressed at the panel’s harsh response to Ryan.

Amanda told him: “I’m not sure this is something I’d feel confident presenting to the Royal Family.”

However, just when the celeb judges thought it was all over, Ant and Dec then wandered onto the stage to play their own accordion.

As the Geordie duo took a stance in support of Ryan, Alesha told the pair to “behave.”
