Former Big Brother star Paul Blackman has squashed rumours of a potential romance with co-star Olivia and claims he would “never touch” her.
The 24-year-old from Liverpool was recently evicted from the house alongside co-star Dylan. Receiving a high number of boos from the audience during eviction night, Paul admitted that it was one of the “scariest” moments of his life.
But when discussing his time on the ITV programme and his connections with his other housemates, Paul, who is currently in a relationship, confirmed there was nothing romantic going on with dancer Olivia despite viewers thinking otherwise. He also confirmed that they are just very good mates.

Talking exclusively to Daily Star and other press, he said: “The thing is, in that house I knew in the back of my mind, me and my girlfriend are very secure in our relationship. She’s got boy friends, she’s literally got a best boy friend that lives next door to her.
“I’ve got girl friends and my girlfriend is mates with my best girl friend, you know. We have different people from different genders in our lives. You can’t just avoid other genders because you’re with someone, you’re allowed to have a laugh and joke with everyone.”
He then said: “Me and Olivia made it quite clear we would never touch each other. We would never go near each other.
“We’re just friends, we’re just friends and there is nothing to it. I think everyone in the house all had emotional touch boundaries. Like me and Matty, he gave me massage all the time you know,” Paul laughed.
Paul previously told Metro: “Obviously, Olivia’s a good-looking girl. I went in there as the young lad who just likes to cause mischief. We’ve been put in there together for that narrative, and it’s been pushed quite clearly. But it just wasn’t like that. We just had a laugh.”
Although Paul left the show on November 3, his housemates are still feeling the aftermath from his exit. Paul’s friends Chanelle and Tom took Paul’s departure very badly and appeared to blame Trish for why he left so soon.
In a recent episode, Chanelle told her fellow housemates that she could “forgive” but wouldn’t “forget”. But she was quickly reprimanded when Big Brother highlighted that she may be influencing others to nominate Trish. Chanelle and Trish became the latest casualties of a double eviction.
Big Brother airs Sunday to Thursday at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX
