On Tuesday (September 18), the mum-of-two took to Instagram where she reassured fans that she is feeling much better despite her illness.
In a short video she filmed in a white nightie from her bed, she explained: “I’m speaking to you from my bed because I’ve got this, yes Covid. And I’ve slept for about two days – well not really – and I feel great now, I feel as though I’m ready to get back to work.
“I’ll do another test later and hopefully it’s negative, that’s my news. And for the first time I’ve put a nightie on.
“I thought it’s best to do that before I do the video,” she added.
The TV legend captioned the post: “Covid Mamma here. Slept for what seems like two days. Ha and feel great now [two thumbs up emojis].
“Mind you scruff bomb here. Not brushed my hair for two days either [cry-laughing emoji, heart emoji].
“Found a nightie to put on before I did this video, thought best or it could have turned into something else entirely… lols [cry-laughing emoji].”
