It’s been a little over a year since former Girls Aloud singer Sarah Harding tragically passed away, but that hasn’t stopped her from reaching out to her old bandmates.
In September 2021, the 39-year-old songstress passed away after she lost her 15-month battle with breast cancer.
Cheryl and Harding first met when their girl group was formed back in 2002 on the hugely popular reality TV show Popstars: The Rivals.

And it didn’t take long before the pair became firm friends with their strong friendship lasting up until her unfortunate passing.
Now, the Geordie lass believes she has been sent a sign from her late friend through her radio after she opened up about the bizarre coincidence to Gay Times.
She told the publication: “More recently, a song started playing in me car without me car being switched onto Bluetooth or plugged in, and it was a Girls Aloud song.
“It was Hear Me Out by Girls Aloud, which is even more random because that song… I would have to search back God knows where, I wouldn’t know where to look for it at this point.
“But it started playing as I got into the car to go on a long journey,” she explained. “Very specific, and Sarah called her book Hear Me Out after that song, so I just knew it was from her.”
Cheryl and Harding were also joined by Kimberley Walsh, Nicola Roberts and Nadine Coyle to form the epic girl band.
And it didn’t take long before the group soared to success with his songs such as Love Machine, Sound of the Underground and I’ll Stand By You between 2002 and 2009 as well as 2021 and 2013.
Last year, Cheryl confessed that she couldn’t quite believe that her loving friend had died as she opened up about her grief online.

She admitted: “To be honest, I’ve never experienced or anticipated this grief.
“You know, I’ve lost grandparents when I was younger and I lost a friend when I was younger but nothing like this, the feeling of shock and disbelief and it still lingers now to be honest. I still can’t quite believe it’s real.”
It comes after the mum-of-one made her West End debut in 2:22 A Ghost Story, following in the steps of the supernatural thriller’s previous leading ladies Lily Allen and Laura Whitmore.
