The actress has since posted on Instagram as she furiously denied that she’s taken weight loss supplements as she opened up about her health issue which is the reason for her continued weight loss after her time in Australia.
Taking to social media she hit out at the opportunists as she exclaimed: “I’m really, really sad that I have to actually make this video.
“But, I’ve had quite a lot of messages over the last couple of weeks asking me about… keto dummies.
“There is obviously some scam going around saying that I lost weight using keto gummies. Dummies? I dunno. Well, it’s c**p. It’s a scam.”
She added: “And if you’ve been taken in by it, I am so, so sorry.”
In the clip she then went onto explain that scammers have been using her image to sell their own products.
“It’s outrageous. And I just want you to know that I would never, ever, ever advocate anything like that. I’m incensed. I’m absolutely incensed,” Sue fumed.
“Yes, I lost some weight last year. I stopped drinking and I went in the jungle. Yes, I have lost weight this year. But not from any diet.”
She continued: “I had some ‘women’s health issues’ and I lost quite a lot of weight. Too much weight. I look shocking at the minute. And I’m actually trying to put on weight.
“I’m absolutely fine. All those things have been dealt with. You get to a certain age, as a woman… things happen.”
She then urged her followers to loose weight naturally if they can but not to worry about their image and to just be happy within their own skin.
The soap star advised: “Life’s too short to worry about dieting and finding quick fixes. And just, you know, be happy with yourself. Just… you’re a beautiful human being as you are. It drives me insane and it’s a lesson to all of us.”
