Gogglebox legend asks for return to show as fans of Channel 4 series 'crying out for it'

Gogglebox star Sandi Bogle wants to make a sensational return to the show.

Next month will see its 10th anniversary.

And Sandi hopes bosses bring back old stars for a reunion episode.

She told Daily Star Sunday: “I think they will do something special. That’s what the fans are crying out for. And if it does happen, I would be happy to go back.

“Of course I would want to be part of it. I’m one of the originals. I’d just be me.”

Sandi isn’t remotely surprised Gogglebox has lasted so long.

It’s still one of Channel 4’s biggest shows with millions tuning in on Friday nights.

Sandi added: “Gogglebox is an amazing concept. The show is a success because it has different types of people in it. They’re everyday people. It’s real.

“It’s what people do every single day… watching TV. And it’s a show about bringing people together. You can get your food in and watch it as a family.”

Sandi is still a regular at showbiz parties seven years after leaving Gogglebox.

Last week she partied with celeb pals at the launch of a mobile game inspired by Rise Of The Footsoldier.

Sandi left Gogglebox in 2016 after appearing in eight series.

She went on to appear on other shows including Celebrity Big Brother, Celebrity Fit Farm, and Famous and Fighting Crime.

Sandi originally appeared alongside pal Sandra Martin, who went on to star alongside her daughter Chanchez after Sandi quit the show.
