Hollyoaks legend Owen Warner has paid a touching tribute to his “little sister” co-star Niamh Blackshaw following her emotional exit from the Channel 4 soap.
Fans of the Channel 4 soap were left in tears on Wednesday (July 7) night as Juliet sadly passed away after eight months of cancer treatment for Hodgkin’s Lymphoma.
In emotional scenes, Peri Lomax (Ruby O’Donnell) took her girlfriend on a trip down memory lane with the help of Juliet’s family including her brother Romeo Nightingale.

She later passed away after admitting that she was “no longer scared”.
Owen, who has played Romeo for five years, has since taken to Instagram to share a gushing post about Niamh, who played his on-screen sister Juliet since 2018.
Alongside a series of snaps of the pair, Owen captioned his post: “It’s been emotional lil Niamh, best little sister I could’ve asked for.
“I’m sure everyone will agree with me when I say you’re going to go on and do an absolute madness, can’t wait to see what you do next.”
Unsurprisingly, the touching tribute caught the attention of his 599,000 followers, with some rushing to leave a message in the comment section.
One fan penned: “The best onscreen brother and sister, you both have the cutest bond.”
Another added: “Best brother and sister onscreen relationship ever you two have the cutest bond ever love you both so much.”
A third person posted: “What an emotional episode of Hollyoaks and @_owenwarner and @niamhblackshaw it must of been hard for you to do the scenes. But you are both fantastic.”
While a fourth social media user typed: “Going to miss this duo.”
Niamh herself even commented, writing: “My big brother always. I feel so incredible grateful and lucky to have you in my life x”
Soap bosses have confirmed that Juliet will be honoured in episodes to come, with the help of some familiar faces.
Hollyoaks airs weeknights on Channel 4 at 6.30pm followed by first look episodes on E4 at 7pm
