Denise Welch turned down big-money offers to appear on Celebrity MasterChef.
The BBC show’s producers are desperate for the Loose Woman to take part but have failed to convince her.
The 64-year-old told me: “I’ve been asked to do Celebrity MasterChef.

“They keep coming back and I keep saying: ‘Not in a million years’. I’ve said no 84 times.”
Denise doesn’t want to do the cookery show because she thinks she’s useless in the kitchen.
She said: “I can’t think of anything more terrifying than me doing a cooking show.
“It’s terrifying to do something that’s out of your comfort zone.
“And the whole kitchen area is out of my comfort zone.”
Despite turning down the culinary competition, it sounds like Denise could be convinced to do the celebrity version of Bake Off.
She said: “Bake Off is such a lovely show.
“It’s something the whole family can watch, which is so rare these days.
“My Loose Women co-stars Judi Love and Coleen Nolan have done it and they both absolutely loved it.”
Saucy Denise added: “And Paul Hollywood has lovely twinkly eyes.”
It comes after Denise announced she’s become a grandmother.
Host Charlene White started the conversation off by asking Denise to share the exciting news.
“My husband and I became nana and grandad,” Denise began, while beaming to her co-stars.
“My stepson Lewis and his wife Lizzie gave birth to a beautiful little boy.
“I can’t say too much because they haven’t done the photos and things like that,” she added.
Charlene then chimed in: “I’ve got a question you’ve gone for nana, right?”
“When you have blended families, you have to share the baby out between so many people,” Dense explained.

“So I’ve gone for nana, my mum was nan and I had a nana.”
She went on: “I wanted Lincoln to be grumpa. In the Northeast we say ‘grumpa’, but grandpa. So he’s going to be grandad.”
Denise then added how Lewis’ mum is planning to be “nanny” and Lizzy’s mum and dad are “just thinking about what they’re going to be.”
