Love Island fans spot subtle sign Mitch’s mum wants to rekindle Abi romance after ‘kiss’

Love Island fans are convinced that Mitch and Abi will rekindle their romance on the outside after a subtle clue.

Mitch and Abi might have called time on their romance in the villa while she dates Scott and he dates Ella B, but it seems Mitch’s parents aren’t quite so convinced.

The parents entered the villa on Sunday night’s episode, and Mitch’s mum confessed she wasn’t sure about Ella B at first, but stated she soon changed her mind.

She told Ella B she felt the selection might have been “convenient” at first, but then warmed to the latest bombshell.

However, as Mitch took the families over to meet the rest of the islanders, viewers couldn’t help but notice a sweet moment between Mitch’s mum and Abi.

As the pair said hello to one another, Mitch’s mum pulled Abi in for a cuddle and told her: “I’m a girl, I get it,” and gave her a kiss on the cheek, while Abi leant against her shoulder.

The sweet moment had some people raising their eyebrows as they believed it appeared that Mitch’s mum is more on team Abi than team Ella B.

Abi then started getting to know Scott once again and things with Mitch turned sour.

Now both Abi and Mitch are in their respective couples and are officially in their final week in the Love Island villa – but it seems some believe there are things left unsaid with the former partners.

Only four couples will make it to the final, but who will remain?

Love Island continues on ITV2 at 9pm.
