Love Island’s Mitchel Taylor will ‘step on toes to get his girl’ as he teases villa sex

Love Island 2023 star Mitchel Taylor has confessed that he will “step on other lads’ toes” to get what he wants out of the villa.

The 26-year-old from Sheffield is one of ten sexy singletons heading on the brand new series of the hit ITV2 dating show.

And it seems Mitchel, who “thrives on being a gentleman,” will do whatever it takes to find himself a new missus.

Speaking exclusively to Daily Star and other press ahead of his villa stint, Mitchel made it clear he is willing to “step on toes” as he gets to know the ladies in the villa.

When asked if he was looking to start a bromance on the show as well as find love, he said: “I do love a bromance so I do hope I find a guy I can click with because you’re going to be in the villa for a long time.”

But when it comes to finding the one, Mitchel, who is gas engineer, isn’t afraid to compete.

“Put it this way, I’m going in to find love not friends,” he said, when asked if a bromance would be ruined if they were both after the same girl.

“I’d have to put the friendship aside for the girl. If I like a girl, I’m going to have to step on other lads’ toes.”

And of course, the hit show is famous for its raunchy sex scenes – so much so that Mitchell even teased getting down and dirty in the lush Majorca pad.

When asked how his family feels about him potentially having sex on camera Mitchel said: “I don’t actually think about it.

“If it happens, it happens in the moment. If it ever comes to that happening, I’m not going to force it, because I don’t know,” he quipped.

Mitchell also revealed he was scouted for the sun-soaked show last year, but ultimately didn’t go through with it.

Whereas for this year’s series he applied – and revealed that a recent breakup prompted him to sign up.

“I’ve been single since last year, and my end goal is to fall in love, and I’m now at a stage where I’m happy to get to know someone and get dating again,” he said.
