Vogue singer Madonna has reportedly broke up with her 23-year-old boyfriend Andrew Darnell after five months together.
The pair were first romantically linked in September 2022 after they were spotted kissing at a party in New York City and at the time Page Six reported that the pair had been “affectionate all night.”
However, the whirlwind romance is said to have come to an end following Madonna’s “confidence crisis” and the recent ‘ageist and misogynistic’ criticisms of her appearance.

A source told Page Six that the timing couldn’t be worse for the singer, who was 41 years older than her recent ex.
“It was only a very casual thing [with Darnell] so she’s not broken-hearted. It’s just that it has come at a bad time,” the insider revealed.
“She’s having a bit of a crisis of confidence and this doesn’t help. She had a lot of fun with Andrew but it was never love or anything like that,” they added.
Madonna’s self-esteem is said to have been rattled after haters slammed her “unrecognisable” appearance after she attended the 2023 Grammys.
Taking to Instagram, she hit back at those who were too “focused” on her look instead of the “fearlessness” of artists like Sam Smith and Kim Petras, who she presented the award for Album of the Year to.
“Instead of focusing on what I said in my speech which was about giving thanks for the fearlessness of artists like Sam and Kim.”
“Many people chose to only talk about Close-up photos of me Taken with a long lens camera By a press photographer that Would distort anyone’s face,” Madonna typed.
“Once again I am caught in the glare of ageism and misogyny That permeates the world we live in,” she added.
“A world that refuses to celebrate women past the age of 45 And feels the need to punish her If she continues to be strong willed, hard-working and adventurous.”
Madonna concluded her post, writing: “I look forward to many more years of subversive behavior -pushing boundaries-Standing up to the patriarchy -and Most of all enjoying my life. Bow down b****es!”
