Piers Morgan appeared to reveal that ITV’s This Morning had a new line-up which included none other than himself.
And it seems one of his new anchors isn’t a journalist or news presenter, but reality TV legend Gemma Collins.
Piers made the joking “announcement” on Twitter this week after attending the Chelsea Flower Show, which took place in London.

Always a very star-studded affair, the event is the perfect opportunity for celebs to network and it seems the GC may have nabbed her next gig.
In a tongue-in-in-cheek post, Piers said: “The new This Morning presenting team! ” while tagging his colleague Charlotte Hawkins.
The joke comes as This Morning’s Phillip Schofield has stepped down as the show’s co-presenter and his replacement remains to be seen.
Gemma was dressed flamboyantly as usual in a flowing emerald dress, rakish hat and massive sunglasses all while clutching a glass of champagne.
Recently rumours swirled that the former TOWIE star had split from her long-term boyfriend Rami Hawash, who she has revealed she would love to have a child with. In fact, Gemma, 42, said last year they were postponing their wedding as they were “trying for a baby”.
The split speculation came after eagle-eyed fans spotted that she and the businessmen no longer follow each other on social media.
However, Gemma was quick to assure fans they were still together – it was just that Rami prefers to remain private.
She said: “I have a private Instagram for my family and friends. Rami is a businessman and doesn’t always want to be on camera.
“Everything is good. We live a private life away from the cameras – it’s not for everyone. He is a private man and I have to respect that.”
Though Gemma is crazy in love with Rami, she has also made no secret about her crush on silver fox Paul Hollywood – in fact, he was the only reason she appeared on Celebrity Bake Off, she said.
While stumbling through her recipes and eventually serving the judges raw pastry, Bake Off host Noel Fielding joked: “Don’t look now, but there’s a man at the end of your bench. Have a little look.”
Gemma replied: “I know, I can feel him. It’s going to throw me off my cooking, it’s going to ruin my cream.”
It was at this point that Gemma gushed over the hunky chef, confessing: “He’s something else isn’t he? It’s the only reason I did the show, no offence.”
