Hitmaker Sam Smith has cancelled their Glasgow gig on April 22 following “satantic” show accusations and Piers Morgan’s fiery verbal attack.
The 30-year-old was scheduled to take to the stage at Glasgow OVO Hydro Arena as part of their ongoing Gloria tour but was struck down with a virus.
Taking to Instagram on Friday, Sam delivered the devastating news to their followers.

They wrote: “Sailors, I’m so sorry to say but we have to reschedule the Glasgow show to 25th May 2023. Myself and a lot of my team have been hit with a virus, that’s made us really unwell.
“I want to give the best version of Gloria the Tour and at the moment that’s not possible. It was also really important to me that we had another date to move this to straight away.
“We will celebrate Gloria together!! All previous tickets are still valid for the new date. For any more information, go to my website www.samsmithworld.com. All my love, Sam x”
Sam’s tour has continued to hit headlines, as many have complained about their “satanic” sexualised outfits and routines while on stage and in videos.
In a number of their performances, the star has dressed in devil horns, fishnet tights and a variety of revealing gender-fluid costumes which has led many critics to state that Sam’s tour is not suitable for families and children
Sam’s performance of hit single Unholy at the Brit Awards earlier this year also caused uproar amongst viewers and received 106 registered Ofcom complaints.
The show cancellation comes after an outspoken Piers made a brutal attack on his Uncensored TalkTV show with guests Douglas Murray and James Barr.
Sharing his thoughts on the Stay With Me singer once again, Piers raged that Sam “looked terrible”.
Piers said: “My point about Sam Smith is it’s just an orgy, of in my view, a narcissistic self-indulgent deliberately shocking stuff.
“He [sic] looks terrible! Why would you do this? You can’t seriously think that what we’re looking at here is actually anything other than ridiculous, look at him [sic].”
