Saturday Night Live is the comedy programme that has taken America by storm and while its open to poking fun at serious situations, some people took it too far and got a lifelong ban
The long-running sketch show has been on NBC for decades, first airing in 1975 and has become a staple of US broadcasting.
Nearly every major A-list celebrity who has graced the Western World has appeared on SNL, including the likes of Adele, Harry Styles, Kim Kardashian, Emma Stone, Drew Barrymore and a whole lot more.
However not all appearances have gone down a treat with viewers and have even been deeply offensive. Because of this a lot of celebrities have been banned from ever appearing again.
It’s mostly from celebrities who have shared their political opinions on the show. From Kanye West’s rant about mainstream media to Sinead O’Connor’s “fight the real enemy” appearance, not everything has gone down well.
