Teen Mom star Amber Portwood looked completely different in her latest New Years Day selfie.
The reality star ditched her jet black curls for a light brown wavy hairstyle with streaks of blonde. Although she looked somber, Amber stunned as she posed for the selfie, wearing a simple makeup look consisting of a bright pink lipstick and a layer of mascara.
Amber took shared the post with her 1.7 million Instagram followers, wishing them a “wonderful day” and a happy new year.

“Happy New Year 2023!! I hope you’re having a wonderful day and that it’s an indication that we’ll all have a wonder year!” she wrote as her caption.
Amber then concluded her message with: “Sending you light and love.”

Despite her inspirational message, fans were concerned at the location of the picture and the tags she accompanied the post with, which included: “#bestyearofmylife #timeofmylife #takingoff.”
Amber had a tough year in 2022, after losing her son, James in a nasty custody war over her four-year-old son James.
Amber and James’ father, Andrew Glennon split in 2019 and have been fighting for custody of James ever since. In the same year, Andrew was granted primary custody for their son as Amber was arrested for domestic abuse against Andrew.

In a clip from Teen Mom: The Next Chapter reunion special which was aired last month, Amber was shown a recap of her time on the show and asked for her thoughts, to which she worryingly responded: “Don’t want to deal with that right now.”
When host Dr Drew inquired further, asking: “Don’t want to deal with the James thing?
Amber flatly answered: “All of that. All of it. All of it was horrible.”

The 32-year-old rose to fame in 2009 after starring on 16 and Pregnant before joining the MTV hit reality show, Teen Mom, where she documented her life as a young mum with then-boyfriend Gary Shirley and daughter Leah.
