This Morning makes major change to opening credits hours after Holly Willoughby quits

ITV’s hit daytime show This Morning made a major change to its opening format following long-standing host Holly Willoughby’s shocking exit.

On Tuesday (October 10), Holly, 42, announced she would be leaving the programme after 14 years with immediate effect. To honour her surprise departure, the opening credits were changed on This Morning.

During the beginning of the show, which would usually see Holly making her way into the studio and previews of what was to come, was no longer visible and instead was replaced with a large picture of Holly with the words, “goodbye Holly”. While the caption “end of an era” was also added.
