Viewers say same thing about new horror film described as most ‘messed up’ ever made

Viewers have been left in shock after they watch a new terrifying horror movie and some have described it as the most “messed up” ever made.

Horror fanatics have been flocking to social media to share their fear and have commented on how “scarring” and “horrific” it is. The movie is Bone Tomahawk by S Craig’s Zahler.

IMDB describes the synopsis of the horror flick by saying: “In the dying days of the old west, an elderly sheriff and his posse set out to rescue their town’s doctor from cannibalistic cave dwellers.” The film is jam-packed full of terrifying twists and turns that have left fans describing it as “wild.”

Taking to the social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter, to comment on the scare-fest one fan said: “It’s worth it. Excellent performance by Kurt Russell as Sheriff. 8/10.” A second fan penned: “Bone Tomahawk was so messed up I couldn’t finish that one, so maybe it’s actually Bone Tomahawk. Idk. No clue how I finished this movie lmao.”

A third reeled: “Bone tomahawk wins all these horrific/scarring/shock polls. All. Night. Long.” A fourth added: “‘Bone Tomahawk’ takes the craziest western for me it has one of the wildest scenes I’ve ever seen.”

While a fifth commented: “S Craig Zahler is one of the finest filmmakers to emerge in the last decade or so. Bone Tomahawk, Brawl in Cell Block 99 and Dragged Across Concrete – all first-rate works. Someone needs to let him make another movie ASAP. It’s a crime that it’s been five years since his last film!”

It’s not only people on social media who have been raving about the film it also boosted an impressive 91 per cent Tomatometer score and a solid 74 per cent audience score on Rotten Tomatoes. Some fans have also commented on the film via Google reviews.

One fan said: “The problem with this film is how underrated it is. It is truly a gem to watch it’s like if Hills Have Eyes were set in a Western time period. The story is decent, not complicated at all however as it is quite well-paced and never feels boring as a good Western should be.
