Aidan Hammond has made a huge announcement that will see a shift in his career.
Aidan, who is the son of This Morning host Alison Hammond, is rarely seen, as he tries to keep himself out of the limelight. However, this will change this summer, as Aidan gears up to enter the spotlight in a new event.
Taking to his social media platforms, he revealed the news as he could not contain his pride in landing the deal. Posting the snap to his 6,600 Instagram followers, he admitted that he will be keeping fans up in the evening with his latest musical endeavours.

Writing in the caption, Aidan revealed all in the post that was published on Tuesday (April 16). “I AM PLAYING AT MY FIRST EVER FESTIVAL, CAMP BESTIVAL!” he penned,

“I will be playing on Saturday 27th of July in the Bollywood tent from 7-8pm,” he added. “So if you like house music get your tickets and come see me play big thanks to Camp Bestival!”
Several of Aidan’s fans were quick to celebrate the news for Aidan himself, with some old faces from his childhood coming forward to wish him the best. One eager fan wrote: “As your old TA, I’m very proud of you Aidan,” before following it up with clapping emojis and a kiss.
Celebrity chef Marcus Bean also gave Aidan props for landing the show, writing: “This is awesome news! They need to get you at Shropshire next,” followed by a smiling and a flame emoji.

Organisers at Camp Bestival were more than happy to take Aidan on in the new show, as he had been improving his DJing game and growing into his new career. The festival said in a statement: “We are so excited to announce that Aidan Hammond will be joining us at Camp Bestival Dorset this summer with his festival DJ debut.
“Son of TV’s Alison Hammond, Aidan has been DJ’ing for over a year, captivating audiences with his infectious beats and electrifying performances,” they added. “He’ll be DJ’ing in the legendary Bollywood tent on Saturday night and is rumoured to have a ‘special surprise guest’ joining him too…”

The teenage star, 19, is also branching into music production and is looking for more festivals to be given gigs for in order to build his live performance experience. And it’s clear that Alison is giving Aidan her seal of approval as she shared a loving montage of Aidan’s DJ-ing skills, as well as hanging out with his mates in celebration of his 19th birthday.
Writing in the caption, she said: “Just so proud of this young man! This is 19! I love you my son Aidan.” Alison’s followers were quick to gush over the star’s child, with one fan in particular branding him “lovely” and that they were “not surprised you’re proud. What a fab mum he has”.
