Ant McPartlin was all smiles with his heavily pregnant wife Anne-Marie in London.
It was clear the Britain’s Got Talent host couldn’t contain his excitement about becoming a dad. He was snapped smiling at his partner’s growing baby bump after grabbing lunch at The River Café in Hammersmith.
The 48-year-old dad-to-be and Anne-Marie, 46, grabbed a bite to eat with former footballer and TV star Jamie Redknapp and wife Frida Andersson at the swanky eatery last week. Perhaps Ant wanted to get some tips on being a dad, given that Jamie is a dad-of-three.

Ant and Anne-Marie were walking hand-in-hand as they departed the diner, and Ant flashed a smile to the paparazzi before stepping into a car. Ant kept things casual in a blue shirt and jeans combo.
Anne-Marie, who is expected to give birth in June, looked comfy in a navy top and cardigan. The pair’s pregnancy was revealed earlier this year and it was said the couple are “beyond delighted” with the news.
Ant has already got experience as a stepdad as Anne-Marie is already a mum to daughters Poppy and Daisy from a previous marriage. But Ant wasn’t sure he’d ever have children of his own.
A source told The Sun: “This is the news everyone wanted. Ant and Anne-Marie are beyond delighted. It’s no secret that Ant has always wanted children, but that it may never happen for him was something he had, sadly, come to terms with.
“When they found out last year, they were absolutely delighted, but obviously kept the news quiet for as long as possible. To be having a child two years short of his 50th birthday, with the love of his life, is the stuff of dreams for Ant.
“He’s already a wonderful, doting father to Anne-Marie’s kids, and together they’re going to be brilliant parents to this latest addition to the family.” Ant had previously wanted kids with his ex Lisa Armstrong, whom he split from in 2018.
He previously told the Radio Times: “Lisa and I would love to have kids. We’re trying. It’s tougher than you think when you get a bit older.” Ant began dating Anne-Marie, his and ex-wife Lisa former PA, after they called off their marriage.
When the news broke about Ant and Annie-Marie’s baby news, his stephfather David Woodhall told The Sun: “[Ant] will make a good dad. He’s good with the girls so he’ll be great’. He’s very happy I think. I’m over the moon”.
