BBC The Traitors star Kyra’s candid admission about co-stars as she’s axed from show

Kyra has become the latest contestant to get ‘killed’ on The Traitors – and she reckons it was because she was too much of a threat to her fellow players.

Aubrey and Sonja were previously axed from the BBC show, which has just returned with its second series. 22 contestants have been battling it out to win the £120,000 cash prize, using lies and deception to remain in the game. And it was 21-year-old apprentice economist Kyra Johnson from Kent became the latest victim to be sent packing.

Traitors Miles, Harry, Ash and Paul decided to give her the chop In her exit interview – Paul said she was the “biggest voice in the room” and Ash described her as “commandeering.” Miles said she was “intimidating” as she was a really good player.

Kyra herself agreed, saying: “I’m sad. I think with this game you have to strike a balance. For me I don’t think I maybe didn’t strike the balance particularly well in the sense that I was too outspoken.

But she was pleased with herself. She added: “I think obviously that was intimidating but I did say I would authentically be myself so I have no regrets.”

Host Claudia Winkleman bluntly said: “Her time was short and sweet, mainly short.” Ross said: “I think the Traitors have played a very good game, they have got rid of one of the strongest players in the Faithfuls with no leads back to them.”
