Amanda Holden didn’t expect to discover a “whip” in Simon Cowell’s wardrobe.
The Britain’s Got Talent judge looked stunning as she took part in the recent press launch event to promote the hit ITV talent show which returns on Saturday (April 20). While appearing alongside her fellow judges Bruno Tonioli, Alesha Dixon and Simon, Amanda shared insight into what fans can expect from the new series.
But during her interview with influencer Harriet Rose, Amanda spoke openly about an outfit that one of the acts wore and disclosed that she found the same costume in head judge Simon’s wardrobe. She said: “He once let me into his wardrobe and there was just rows and rows of grey T-shirts and jeans.

“And then there was a Greatest Showman outfit with a top hat… and a whip!”

As the judges roared with laughter, Harriet added that she wouldn’t allow Amanda to elaborate further on what she saw. She added: “I’m not going to make any more comments on that!”
The news comes after music mogul Simon hinted at some exciting new twists in the upcoming series. The 64-year-old expressed his concern about the show becoming “stale” and emphasised his commitment to keeping it fresh with innovative elements.

Discussing the forthcoming series, he said: “It’s got a heart, great stories, things we’d never seen before, which is important because you don’t want to just keep repeating the same thing year on year. So overall, I couldn’t be happier.
He added: “I love that there aren’t any rules on the show anymore. It is kind of like being back at school.”
