Everyone was looking around astonished, as they asked each other if Geneviève was responsible for the animal sounds. After the penny had dropped, the entire auditorium was captivated by her. Amanda, told her co-stars: “I’ve never seen anything like this before,” as she praised Geneviève before she’d even finished up the segment.
The judges all seemed to be unanimous when it came to Geneviève’s extraordinary talent. Without much hesitation she swiftly racked up “four yes’s” and sailed through to the next round.
Meanwhile, on yesterday’s programme, two contestants received golden buzzers in the opening show but one West End hopeful Sydnie Christmas has left fans crying “fix” after working out her real career.
Sydnie took to the stage, singing her own rendition of Tomorrow from the musical Annie. After revealing her song choice, Simon huffed and puffed away as he said: “I hate that song”.
However, after listening to Sydnie’s version, the music mogul told her he’d now changed his mind. It was Amanda, who lunged from her seat to wack the giant golden buzzer.
In her discussion with the judges, Sydnie declared that her dream was to be on the West End stage but right now she was working at the front of house of a gym. Everyone fell in love with her story, that she was looking for her next big break.
However, since her audition, fans have stumbled across her Instagram account and established that she’d already had a career on the West End stage. Sydnie had actually worked on an Andrew Lloyd Webber production.
Syndie had a starring role in Starlight Express, meaning she’d already achieved her ambition, leaving viewers feeling duped.
