Britain’s Got Talent star’s TV past ‘exposed’ as fans say ‘she’s doing the rounds’

The second episode of Britain’s Got Talent featured a variety of acts.

Among them was 48-year-old Genevieve Cote, who had travelled all the way from Canada to showcase her talent. With a large screen behind her displaying wildlife landscapes and animals, Genevieve began creating sound effects that matched the scenes.

From ocean waves to jungle animal noises, the judges were left in awe. However, some ITV viewers were less than impressed when they realised this wasn’t Genevieve’s first appearance on a talent show. One social media user pointed out: “She’s already been on Canada’s Got Talent and got a golden buzzer for it there.”

Another added: “And another flown in specially to perform act. Got to the semi finals of Canada’s got talent so quick fly her over for the #bgt version #britainsgottalent.” A third person said: “Hate to break it to you Alesha but Geneviève has been on Canada’s Got Talent and America’s Got Talent. She’s doing the rounds! #BGT.”

Despite this, many viewers were captivated by her unique skill, with one fan writing: “That was good nature sounds.” Last year, Genevieve competed on Canada’s Got Talent, where she received a Golden Buzzer from judge Howie Mandel. She progressed far in the competition, making it to the semi-finals, reports the Express.

Genevieve also received a Golden Buzzer from Karine Le Marchand during her stint on France’s Got Talent. Most recently, she participated in America’s Got Talent: Fantasy League as part of Howie Mandel’s team, but was eliminated in the preliminary rounds.

The Britain’s Got Talent judges were left flabbergasted after a stunning performance by an act on the stage, resulting in a standing ovation from all.

Bruno Tonioli was amazed, exclaiming: “I was so mesmerised! I felt nature coming out of your body, the expression of nature, the force of nature. You are a force of nature, what can I say? “. Echoing Bruno, Amanda Holden gushed it to be one of the most extraordinary and spiritual experiences she’d ever witnessed.

Alesha could hardly believe it. She said: “I was utterly gobsmacked throughout that whole performance, just sat herein a transverse, mesmerised by you. I’m sitting here thinking I love this show, this is the only show you would see something as magical as that.”

Simon Cowell was not new to Genevieve’s talent. Despite having seen her perform on other competition shows before, he lauded the performer by calling her act “unbelievably good”.

He praised her by saying: “Your voice is sensational, everything about that, that was perfection.” Genevieve succeeded in leaving a lasting impression on all four judges, and as a result, made it through to the next round of the competition.
