Chunkz breaks silence on Yung Filly’s arrest following sexual assault charges

Yung Filly’s best friend Chunkz has addressed the influencer’s recent scandal.

In a video posted to social media, Chunkz spoke directly to the camera and explained: “Yes me people. Like everyone, I’ve heard the reports coming out of Australia. Whilst I understand many of you want my reaction on it, as this is an ongoing court case I hope you guys can understand that I can’t and won’t be commenting on it publicly.”

“So yeah, I’ve come on here to basically let you know the reason as to why I can’t. Love.”

Fans on X/Twitter came to Chunkz’s defence, with one person writing: “He can’t legally bro. Even if he wanted to, he would get sued.” Another added: “I don’t know what people want him to say, it’s not like he can publicly say anything about the case.”

“That’s a solid point, can’t argue with that,” typed another viewer as a second said: “I don’t understand why people can’t see that this situation can’t be discussed openly because it’s still under investigation.”

A third person tweeted: “Let’s be real. Even if he knows as much as we do, people are gonna say he did something wrong no matter what he says.” More chimed in saying that they “don’t know why people feel they are entitled to everything,” that they don’t know what people “expect him to say” and urged viewers to “wait for the evidence”.

“He doesn’t deserve the hate he’s getting for not speaking up to his friends. The cancel culture for these celebrities is unbearable,” signed off another X/Twitter user. Chunkz, real name Amin Mohamed, is a British YouTuber and member of the Beta Squad.

Chunkz is best known for his channel where he often films videos collaborating with close friend and fellow YouTuber Yung Filly, real name Andrés Felipe Valencia Barrientos, who was arrested and taken into custody in Brisbane, Australia on 8 September, transferred to Perth a day later.

Detectives from Western Australia Police’s sexual assault squad have charged the influencer with four counts of sexual penetration without consent.
