EastEnders legends Danny Dyer and Ross Kemp at war over the ‘perfect pint’

Queen Vic legends Danny Dyer and Ross Kemp are at war over the perfect pint.

The EastEnders veterans, who were both landlords of the Walford institution, below, launched rival booze campaigns on the same day.

Danny, 46, wants punters to chuck hot sauce in their pints to create spicy new tipple the Flager, which vows to take lager to “new heights”.

“It involves all of my favourite things – football, lager and hot sauce. I wasn’t sure whether it would taste decent – but it’s actually proper naughty.”

Meanwhile, the Grant Mitchell star has been visiting landlords in a three-part short film series for Heineken, called Ross Kemp Behind Bars.

It focuses on the beer firm’s “SmartDispense” technology.

Ross, 59, said: “A good pint is one of life’s little luxuries. When I heard there was technology that could help pubs deliver a consistent, quality pint every time, I knew I wanted to be a part of it.”
