Helen Flanagan almost got shown the door on Celebs Go Dating for disregarding the show’s rules.
The programme’s matchmaker expert, Anna Williamson, has revealed that despite the former Coronation Street actress’s rebellious behaviour, she ends up being part of one of the most surprising turn of events the Channel 4 show has ever seen.
Anna beamed as she said: “Helen, I just love her. What I will say about her though – and I don’t want to spoil anything – but Helen has the biggest cliff-hanger pivot of a storyline that we’ve ever had in Celebs Go Dating history.”

Recounting a close call, she continued: “Helen nearly got thrown out of the agency two weeks ago. She did something huge which goes against all the rules of the agency.”

Giving a teaser to the fans of the celebrity dating show, expert Anna suggested that the upcoming series would offer an unforeseen twist and elevate towards the end, and is not as toned down as she initially expected. Full of excitement, she raved: “I’m not just saying it, I think this is one of my favourite series we’ve done in a long time.”

Displaying her anticipation, Anna admitted: “Put it this way I’m filming scenes at the moment that I feel like I’m a viewer watching on the telly.” Displaying her shock, she remarked with disbelief: “I’m going, ‘What? Huh?'”
The telly star spilled the beans on the upcoming series, saying: “Just when we thought things started to get a bit more tame towards the end of series, it’s just pivoted and ramped up more. To the point where I need a serious spa holiday after this series.”
