Two Hollyoaks legends are set to tie the knot – but will things go to plan?
In recent scenes of the Channel 4 soap, viewers watched Freddie Roscoe (Charlie Clapham) pay a visit to Grace Black (Tamara Wall) behind bars.

Freddie, has also spent time in prison and upon being released, he headed to South Africa to reunite with mum Sandy Roscoe, who was in possession of a letter from Fraser Black, Grace’s dead father. The mysterious note led Freddie to Grace as he informed her about Fraser’s fortune, which the two are determined to get her hands on.
The pair have ended up falling in love while plotting their scheme and it turns out that Grace, with some assistance from her fiancée Freddie, is now determined on breaking out of captivity.
Speaking about what fans can expect in upcoming scenes, Tamara teased: “”Grace wants to escape from prison and if she escapes then she’s going to need to cash. So we’re working at the moment on a wild treasure hunt to try and find this money left by my dad. So Freddie is in and out of prison to get Grace’s advice on how they’d find it so he can get her out.
“The biggest surprise is that Freddie and Grace are together and engaged. That was a bit of a shock to both of us. They are planning on escaping somehow by having a wedding and because it’s Grace she’s somehow allowed her to get married outside of the prison, what stupid fools they are.
“It really couldn’t go further away than wrong but Grace always has a second plan and she does something else instead which is probably worse.” Tamara added that her and co-star Charlie have even come up with their own backstory on how their characters hooked up.
She explained: “We’ve made up a story between me and Charlie that we had mutual friends in different prisons and we got different messages to each other and it turned out we were in love with each other the whole time. Me and Charlie have been friends for years and we were both saying we’re really glad it’s you I’ve come back to because you get nervous when you haven’t done it for ages and if it had been somebody I didn’t know I think it would be nerve-wrecking but literally within five minutes it was like we’ve not seen each other and straight back to the old days.”
Hollyoaks airs weeknights on E4 at 7pm and first look episodes can be streamed Channel 4 at 7.30pm
